Before Your HydraFacial
- Arrive with a clean face — no makeup, SPF, or heavy moisturizers if you can.
- Pause retinol and exfoliating acids 3–5 days before your appointment.
- Avoid sun exposure and spray tans for at least 5 days prior.
- Let us know about any recent facial treatments, peels, or injectables.
After your HydraFacial
- Wear SPF 30+ every day — especially in the 48 hours following your treatment.
- Skip active ingredients (retinol, acids) for at least 24 hours after your session.
- Avoid saunas, steam, and intense exercise for 24 hours — your skin is in absorption mode.
- Results last longest with consistent sessions every 4–6 weeks.

For most clients, every 4–6 weeks gives the best ongoing results — it aligns with your skin’s natural renewal cycle. If you’re treating a specific concern like congestion or dullness, we may recommend more frequent sessions at first and then space them out as your skin improves.
HydraFacial can help manage mild breakouts and congestion, and it’s safe for acne-prone skin. That said, if you’re dealing with persistent or moderate-to-severe acne, our Acne Bootcamp program is likely a better fit. The two can also work together — many Bootcamp clients add a monthly HydraFacial as a maintenance treatment.
The core protocol is the same — cleanse, extract, hydrate, infuse. The Deluxe adds a targeted booster serum on top of that, selected for your specific skin concern that day. If you’re treating something in particular, the Deluxe is worth it. If you’re coming in for regular maintenance, the Signature does the job beautifully.
Yes — this is actually one of the best treatments for sensitive skin. We customize the serum selection to avoid anything potentially irritating, and the treatment itself is very gentle. If you have any specific sensitivities or allergies, just let me know at booking and I’ll plan accordingly.
I recommend waiting at least 24 hours before applying makeup so your skin can fully absorb what was infused during treatment. Your skin will look great on its own — most clients are pleasantly surprised. If you absolutely need to wear makeup the same day, keep it minimal and use clean tools.
